A minimum of 3 Art Talks per classroom this year, with the plan to increase in the number of presentations in future years.
To create a comprehensive collection of lesson plans and prepared packets so that parents will not have to independently research topics for their Art Talk.
To train and advise our volunteers, including having several members attend the Art Institute’s annual seminar for Art Volunteers.
To encourage teachers and administrators at Emerson School to display prints of well known artwork throughout the school.
To encourage and assist in planning and conducting field trips to see artwork, especially at the Art Institute of Chicago.
